I would like to thank you for your personal contribution to the development of our bilateral relations, President Ilham Aliyev said at the third meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, APA's special correspondent reports.
“First of all, I would like to thank you for the invitation to visit brotherly Uzbekistan, for your hospitality, for your warm attitude toward Azerbaijan and our people, as well as for your personal contribution to the development of our bilateral relations.
“The short video shown before the start of our meeting presented, in a very concise and sufficiently comprehensive manner, the projects we are currently working on. Some of them have already been implemented, while others will be implemented. The main point is that we have a concrete agenda for strengthening our interaction. I am confident that as the projects already identified are implemented, new projects will also emerge, and the presentation of this video will take more time. In fact, I viewed the preparation of such a presentation very positively because it covers the main areas that unite us today,” the head of state said.
