President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order approving the “State Program for 2027–2032 on Ensuring Food Safety in the Republic of Azerbaijan,” APA reports.
According to the Order, the “State Program for 2027–2032 on Ensuring Food Safety in the Republic of Azerbaijan” has been approved.
The Cabinet of Ministers must resolve issues arising from this Order.
The Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan must coordinate the measures envisaged in the State Program and oversee their implementation, as well as inform the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan once a year about the status of implementation of the measures envisaged in the State Program.
The monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of the measures envisaged in the State Program must be carried out by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication at the request of the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, together with the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, must take appropriate measures each year during the preparation of the state budget and state investment programs of the Republic of Azerbaijan to provide for the necessary financial resources for financing the measures envisaged in the State Program.
