Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan have visited Vangli village in the Aghdara district, APA's correspondent dispatched to Karabakh reports.
The guests visited the Ganjasar Monastery.
They were informed about the history of the monastery.
Note that the Ganjasar Monastery complex consists of a church, a special entrance hall and auxiliary buildings.
The complex is surrounded by fortress walls with two gates on the southern and western sides. Cells and rooms of auxiliary buildings adjoin the northern and southern walls.
The foundation of the church, located near the southern gate of the complex, was laid by Albanian Prince Hasan Jalal between 1216 and 1238.
