Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the Chairman of the Sovereign Transitional Council of Sudan, Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan Abdelrahman Al-Burhan, APA reports.
The congratulatory letter reads:
"Dear Mr. Chairman,
On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I sincerely congratulate you and your people on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Sudan - Independence Day.
I remember with pleasure your visit to Baku to participate in COP29. I believe that relations between Azerbaijan and Sudan will continue to develop in the spirit of friendship and cooperation, both bilaterally and multilaterally, in accordance with the interests of our peoples.
On this holiday, I convey my best wishes to you and wish your friendly people peace and prosperity."
