Azerbaijan approaches cooperation with Central Asian countries with responsibility and great enthusiasm, President Ilham Aliyev said at the third meeting of the Supreme Interstate Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, APA's special correspondent reports.
“I would once again like to thank you for the special role you played in Azerbaijan’s participation as a full-fledged member in the consultative meetings of the Central Asian countries. It is symbolic that the decision was adopted precisely in Tashkent, at the meeting held under your leadership. We know very well what a major role you personally played in ensuring Azerbaijan’s full-fledged participation in this format. This process is already underway. Recently, we held a meeting together in Kyrgyzstan. Azerbaijan approaches this work within the framework of cooperation with the Central Asian countries with great responsibility and great enthusiasm,” the head of state said.
