The President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, has sent a condolence letter to President Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
The letter reads:
"His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan
Dear Mr. President,
I have learned with deep regret the news of the loss of life resulting from the crash of Azerbaijan's passenger plane near the city of Aktau, Kazakhstan.
In light of this tragedy, I share in your grief and extend my deepest condolences to the brotherly people of Azerbaijan and to the families of the deceased. I thank Allah the Almighty for the survivors and wish a swift recovery to the injured.
May Allah protect you and your people."
