The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Hissein Brahim Taha, has addressed a condolence letter to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
The letter reads:
"Your Excellency Mr. President,
I have received with profound grief and sorrow the news of the crash of Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft in Kazakhstan, which resulted in the death of a number of its passengers.
On this heartbreaking occasion, I would like to share my grief and sorrow, and to present to Your Excellency, to the people of Azerbaijan, and the families of the deceased my deepest condolences, praying to Almighty Allah to confer mercy on the souls of the deceased, and for recovery of the injured.
Please accept, Mr. President, the assurances of my highest consideration and regards."
