The President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, has sent a letter of condolence to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
The letter reads:
"Dear Mr. President,
Following the tragic news of the loss of lives in the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines plane near Aktau, Kazakhstan, I extend, on behalf of the citizens of the Republic of Croatia and myself, our deep and sincere condolences.
At this difficult time for your country, as it faces a major tragedy, I kindly ask you, Mr. President, to convey our deepest condolences and solidarity to the families of the victims and all the citizens of Azerbaijan. We wish the injured a swift recovery and hope that the painful consequences of this tragic event will be overcome as quickly as possible.
Please accept, Mr. President, the assurances of my highest consideration."
