Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to his Cuban counterpart Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez, APA reports.
The congratulatory letter reads:
"Dear Mr. President,
On the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Cuba - Independence Day, I extend my most sincere congratulations and good wishes to you and, in your person, to all your people on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan.
Friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Cuba are based on good traditions. I believe that by taking advantage of the existing opportunities, we can achieve further development of our interstate relations and expansion of our fruitful cooperation in areas of mutual interest through our joint efforts.
Taking this opportunity, I also sincerely congratulate you on the occasion of the New Year 2025, wishing you good health, success in your work, and constant peace and prosperity to the friendly Cuban people."
