The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order on the measures regarding the election of the Shusha city as the "Youth Capital of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)” for 2024, APA reports.
It was stated in the Order that Shusha, the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, was unanimously chosen as the 10th host of the "Youth Capital 2024" International Program of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation” on November 10, 2023, at the 11th meeting of the Executive Council of the Youth Forum of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, held in Istanbul, the Republic of Türkiye.
In accordance with the Order, the Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to prepare and implement an action plan related to the election of the Shusha city as the "Youth Capital of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC)” for 2024,, and to resolve other issues arising from this Order.
