Two academics were killed in a drone strike on the building of the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences in Kyiv, Anatolii Zahorodnii, President of the Ukrainian National Academy of Sciences said, UNIAN said, APA reports.
According to him, several other academics cannot be reached.
It was reported that search and rescue operations are currently underway at the scene.

A Russian UAV has hit the building of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in central Kyiv, causing a fire, Antikor said, APA reports.
There were people inside the building at the time of the incident, and they tried to escape through the windows.
There is currently no information about their condition.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko initially said that a UAV had hit a non-residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district, causing a fire.
Ukrainian media later reported that the building in question was that of the National Academy of Sciences.
