AzInTelecom LLC presented its solutions and capabilities in cloud technologies, biometric identification and artificial intelligence at the international ICTWEEK Uzbekistan 2026 event held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, APA reports.
The company’s participation in the event served as an important platform for promoting digital products and services in the regional market, establishing new partnerships and expanding international cooperation.
The development of modern digital infrastructure, creation of high-performance computing capabilities and application of advanced technologies are among the main areas of AzInTelecom’s activities aimed at strengthening Azerbaijan’s position as a regional digital hub. Along with data centers and cloud infrastructure, the company is also developing artificial intelligence and high-performance computing capabilities in this area.
Farid Ismayilzada, Advisor to the CEO of AzInTelecom LLC, delivered a speech on “The impact of artificial intelligence on cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity” during a panel discussion held as part of the event. He spoke about the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on modern digital infrastructure, as well as the projects implemented by AzInTelecom in this area.
During the speech, the importance of the first Supercomputer Center established in Azerbaijan for the country’s artificial intelligence and digital development was particularly emphasized. The center creates the necessary infrastructure for implementing artificial intelligence and other technological projects requiring significant computing power within the country and provides local companies, government agencies and innovation entities with access to advanced computing resources. In this way, Azerbaijan is expanding its capabilities not only as a user of digital technologies, but also as a country possessing the technological infrastructure necessary for the creation and development of artificial intelligence solutions.
NVIDIA H200 GPU chips are used at the center to develop artificial intelligence models, rapidly process large volumes of data and perform complex computations. Work is currently underway to further expand the center’s computing power and capabilities. This infrastructure also creates new opportunities to strengthen Azerbaijan’s position as a technological center for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing services in the region.
Ismayilzada also stated in his speech that AzInTelecom uses modern artificial intelligence technologies to enhance security in its biometric solutions.
As part of the event, the AzInTelecom delegation presented the company’s cloud and biometric solutions, as well as other digital products and services, to an international audience at its stand. During bilateral meetings with representatives of foreign technology companies, potential cooperation opportunities and prospects for applying the solutions in regional markets were discussed.
AzInTelecom’s participation in international technology platforms serves not only to promote the company’s digital solutions in foreign markets, but also to strengthen Azerbaijan’s position as a technological center for data storage and processing, cloud services and high-performance computing capabilities in the region.
