“A group of children from Ukraine’s Kharkiv and Kherson regions, areas located on the frontline and severely affected by Russian attacks, has been brought to Azerbaijan,” Ukraine’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Yuriy Husyev told journalists, APA reports.
“We are very grateful to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the government, and the entire Azerbaijani people for the support provided to Ukrainian children. We will never forget this. This is a very important program that brings together Ukrainian and Azerbaijani children, families, and our peoples. Thank you very much, Azerbaijan,” the Ukrainian Ambassador to Azerbaijan said.
It should be noted that another group of Ukrainian children affected by the war in Ukraine is being brought to Azerbaijan today. During the previous period, around 450 children and young people from Ukraine have been brought to Azerbaijan by the Social Services Agency and provided with social and psychological rehabilitation services.
