The 100th anniversary of Bakhtiyar Vahabzade will be celebrated, APA reports.0
President Ilham Aliyev signed an Order in this regard.
The Order stated that in August 2025, the 100th anniversary of the birth of academician Bakhtiyar Mahmud Vahabzade, a prominent representative of Azerbaijani literature, People's Poet, playwright, literary critic, educator and public figure, laureate of the State Prizes of the USSR and the Republic of Azerbaijan:
The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, together with the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, taking into account the proposals of the Azerbaijan Writers' Union, should prepare and implement a plan of events for the 100th anniversary of the People's Poet Bakhtiyar Vahabzade.
