President Ilham Aliyev signed an order “On improving management in the field of use of non-metallic mineral deposits in the Republic of Azerbaijan”, APA reports.
According to the order, AzerGold CJSC must, with the involvement of reputable international consulting companies, analyze the current situation in the field of exploitation of non-metallic mineral deposits, study the relevant market, and, depending on the results of the analysis, prepare its proposals for improving management in this area within four months and submit them to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Moreover, taking into account international standards, the JSC must prepare and, within six months, submit to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan proposals for improving national standards in the field of study, research, exploration, development, and exploitation of non-metallic mineral deposits.
