A public legal entity, "Karabakh University Clinic," is being established under the authority of Karabakh University, APA reports.
President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree regarding this matter.
According to the decree, the clinic will serve as a public legal entity responsible for the professional training of medical students at Karabakh University, conducting scientific research in the field of medicine, and contributing to the protection of public health in the region.

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan is responsible for the reorganization and liquidation of the Clinic, the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan is responsible for resolving other issues attributed to the powers of the founder of a public legal entity in Article 8.2 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Public Legal Entities”, except for those specified in paragraph 3.1 of this Decree.
The Cabinet of Ministers must resolve the issues arising from this Decree, the Ministry of Science and Education must approve the Clinic's charter within two months, take measures for the state registration of the Clinic within 3 days after the approval of its charter in accordance with the procedure established by the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On State Registration and State Register of Legal Entities", and take necessary measures to resolve other issues arising from this Decree.
