APA reports that he met with the president of APA-Holding Vusala Mahirgizi.
Vusala Mahirgizi gave information about establishment, activity of the holding, as well as agencies under the Holding. She noted that the agencies under the Holding give priority to the cooperation with embassies of foreign countries, including UK. Vusala Mahirgizi shared her views about Azerbaijani press, online media, ad market and other issues.
In his turn, the Ambassador Irfan Siddiq said the UK Embassy attaches importance to the relations with Azerbaijani media and he believes that mutual cooperation will be useful for both sides.
They underlined the importance of deepening the cooperation between media agencies and the embassy, discussed opportunities for activity in this field.
Thereafter, the ambassador familiarized with the work of the editorial office.
Chairman of Board of Directors of APA-Holding Nurshan Guliyev also attended the meeting.
