NTRC warns two TV channels, ANS fined AZN 1000

NTRC told APA that the meeting considered the case of administrative proceedings on the violation of the requirements of the law “On Television and Radio Broadcasting” by “Azad Azerbaijan Independent Television and Radio Broadcasting Company”, “ANS Independent Broadcasting Media Company” and “Lider TV and Radio Azerbaijan”.

Lider TV and Radio Azerbaijan LLC were warned over the violation of the Articles 32.0.1, 32.0.9, 35.7 and 35.11 of the law “On Television and Radio Broadcasting” and “Azad Azerbaijan Independent Television and Radio Broadcasting Company” over the violation of the Article 35.2 of the law “On Television and Radio Broadcasting”.

ANS Independent Broadcasting Media Company was fined AZN 1000 in accordance with the Articles 187-1.0.1 and 187-1.0.4 of the Code of Administrative Offences of Azerbaijan Republic, over the violation of the Articles 32.0.1, 32.0.9, 35.5 and 35.11 of the law “On Television and Radio Broadcasting” and the Articles 2.2, 2.4, 2.8 of the “Special regulations prohibiting broadcasting of the decoded programs that harm the physical, mental and moral development of children and adolescents, including programs containing erotic and violent scenes”.
