Global Certification Limited awarded APA Holding as its news services, advertisements, communication and internet provider services comply with the ISO 9001:2008 requirements. 

 

Canan Ulku, Director of MEP-CERT MMC, that is representative of GLOBAL GROUP LTD in Azerbaijan, told APA that companies, improving the quality of their services and products, try to get this certificate for international recognition of this quality.

 

She said that companies should carry out preparatory works to be awarded Quality Management System certification. These works include documentation, holding seminars for raising the level of professionalism of the staff, building customer satisfaction, formation of internal audit system, training internal audit staff and others.

 

Ulku said that the companies are awarded this certificate after being controlled, depending on the results of the audit.

 

“ISO 9001:2008 is an effective framework for effective management practices in a business or organization, focusing attention to our customers' needs and expectations. It helps plan both products and services in terms of quality. The primary purpose of ISO 9001:2008 is to provide all organizations with advanced management system. ISO 9001:2008 is not a production standard and does not guarantee the quality of the product or service. ISO 9001:2008 is based on the required frame for any company to create an effective quality management system and to document and protect it. Moreover, this system provides unbiased information to customers about the company producing high quality products and services and bearing responsibility for these products and services. This standard helps focus on “always doing quality work in the first place”. Quality Management System is a certificate that confirms APA Holding’s agencies operate in line with the world standards,” she said.
