Media Rights Institute releases online transparency report of state organizations

Baku. Shahriyar Alizadeh – APA. Today, Institute of Media Rights has released the online transparency reports of the state organizations.

APA reports that director of the institute Rashid Hajili said in his speech that they conducted monitoring of internet sites of the state organizations: “We based on the results of our monitoring and made this report. The report is based on the monitoring of internet resources of 69 state organizations.”

Program coordinator of the Institute of Media Rights Khalid Aghaliyev said that they used the methodology of the Institute for Development of Freedom of Information while preparing the methodology of the monitoring: “According to the results of the monitoring, there is poor information about the structure of the organization, vacancies and the other issues on websites of the state agencies.”

Chairman of National Television and Radio Council of Azerbaijan Nushiravan Maharramli underlined the importance of such monitoring: “Recently the problems of the transparency of internet resources have decreased.”

Then the results of the monitoring of state agencies were made public in the event. According to results, the firs five places were occupied by the Ministry of Taxes, General Prosecutor’s Office, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, State Social Protection Fund and Central Bank.
