Amashov said that demonstration such "journalistic solidarity" casts the objectivity and bias of this world-famous radio station under doubt.

He noted that Venediktov repeatedly visited Azerbaijan and he is aware of some detail information about the occupation of Azerbaijani lands. “Venediktov knows how sensitive the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh is for Azerbaijan. I do not think that the Russian journalist is not aware of international norms and principles. As a professional should remember the 4 UN resolutions, balanced approach to this subject. The fact that this did not happen accidental is impossible. There is clearly observed bias. Venediktov said that the Karabakh conflict should be fully lit. Nevertheless in the activities of" Echo of Moscow" there is no any evidence of this. And for some reason, this desire is achieved through effort Butman, whose grandfather is Armenian from Karabakh. Beside this in the Echo of Moscow there were no other journalists? Obviously, in this case, a journalistic approach is in the second term, if not third term", - he said.

Amashov said that there are many contrasts, absurdity and ambition in the Venediktov’s speech. The image of democracy, that so carefully shaped Venediktov no trace. With his every word seems imperial ambitions. Apparently it is strongly influenced by outside journalistic interests. Because of the considerations made it too much controversy. On the one hand he talks about visa-free regime between Azerbaijan and Russia, that people freely visit Azerbaijan, that is, the rule of law, but the other hand did not consider that it is necessary to be accredited by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry to visit the occupied Nagorno-Karabakh. His position is that there is no difference between non-visa regime of the CIS and the Schengen area, between the town hall in New York and the “Stepanakert City" shows not only the lack of logic and primitive in the words Venediktov. This is just a demonstration of disregard for the Karabakh problem and just position of the Azerbaijani people to this conflict.

Note that Deputy Chief Editor of the Russian radio station "Echo of Moscow" Sergei Butman visited occupied Nagorno-Karabakh without Azerbaijan’s knowledge. Butman has interviewed the separatist leaders. The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry included the journalists in the list of persona-non-grata. Azerbaijan declares foreigners, who visit Nagorno-Karabakh without notice of Baku, the persona-Non-Grata.
