Azerbaijani Press Council’s hotline on local elections has not received calls from journalists

Baku – APA. Azerbaijani Press Council’s hotline set up in connection with the local elections has not received calls from journalists. The members of the council’s monitoring group have not recorded any fact about, either, Pres Council issued a statement about it, APA reports.

The council’s phone numbers (012) 561 82 46 and (012) 561 80 37 operated from 8.00 till 19.00. The aim of establishing the hotline was to determine the possible obstacles for media representatives covering the local elections and take urgent measures about them.
The Monitoring Group composed of the Press Council’s Management Board members also worked today. The group members visited the constituencies and polling stations in the capital and various regions of the country and concerned themselves with the conditions created for them.
