APA awarded for covering social life of regions

The first meeting of Azerbaijani Press Councilâ€™s conference entitled â€œRegional media in the condition of globalization and convergence: realities, contemporary tendenciesâ€ ended in Yevlakh, APAâ€™s Karabakh bureau reports. Two reports were made on obtaining information from the first source in the regions. member of Azerbaijan Press Councilâ€™s Management Board, editor-in-chief of Azerbayjan newspaper Bakhtiyar Sadigov and head of the Constitutional Fund, expert Alimammad Nuriyev made the reports. Following this, discussions began on the theme. Director General of APA agency Vusala Mahirgizi, editor-in-chief of the Ses newspaper Bahruz Guliyev, editor-in-chief of the Baki kheber newspaper Aydin Guliyev, editor-in-chief of the Paralel newspaper Tapdig Abbas, editor-in-chief of the Yeni Azerbayjan newspaper Hikmat Babaoglu, Director General of Assa Irada Information Agency Fazil Abbasov and others spoke about a number of features of the topic they met in their practice. Awards instituted by Azerbaijani Press Council and Yevlakh region executive power were presented to a group of mass media for covering the social life of the regions. The first award was presented to the Azerbayjan newspaper, the second to APA agency, the third to the Baki kheber newspaper.
The conference entitled â€œRegional media in the condition of globalization and convergence: realities, contemporary tendenciesâ€ will last till December 23.
