He said preliminary steps were done in this direction now: â€œThere are several territories in Russia with digital broadcasting. I hope it will fully pass to the digital broadcasting in 2015. Huge amount of resources will be allocated by the federal budget and commercial organizations for this goal. This process will cover all CIS space. I guess it would be more expedient for all CIS space to pass to digital broadcasting synchronicallyâ€.

Russian president said European and Asian media organizations should launch permanent dialogue out of ideology: â€œThe dialogue should be launched on permanent, equal and pragmatic basis. We are different, but we have common roots. We have to learn to hear and to understand each other in the new conditions. Modern technical basis and professional personnel of mass media organizations is an attribute of independent and strong countryâ€.

Medvedev called the Internet-diaries as a good communication between the authorities and public community. â€œI consider the blogs are good communication to receive real time information about the developments in the country and world. On the other hand, the blogs enable people to fell like a journalistâ€. The president said he created his personal video-blog recentlyh and invited all citizens to send their ideas to this blog. â€œMany regional authorities of Russia followed me and created their own blogs. I am trying to do this job by own forces because I have some professionalism in the information activityâ€.
