60% of the work on the construction of the Horadiz-Aghband railway has been completed, said Rovshan Rustamov, Head of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, in a briefing, APA-Economics reports.
"One of the tunnels is already fully completed, and excavation work has been carried out on the second tunnel. This means that all project work related to the Horadiz-Aghband railway has been completed, and construction is ongoing," he noted.
R. Rustamov also added that the road for the Barda-Aghdam project has already been completed: "Currently, the second phase of the Aghdam bus station and railway station complex is being implemented. It is expected that the complex will be completed in the coming months."
