The ship detained in the African continent does not belong to ASCO, said Mehman Mehdiyev, the Press Secretary of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO), APA reports.
He stated that in such cases they receive numerous messages of concern from sailors and their families: "Like false information, false images also create confusion among them."
Note that information has been spread that 3 ships belonging to Azerbaijan, along with their crews, were detained in the waters belonging to the state of Eritrea, located in Africa. It is reported that the ships departed from Baku and, due to windy weather, were redirected towards Africa - Eritrea, and were allegedly detained for entering Eritrean waters.
It should be noted that three Azerbaijani ships, along with their crews, were taken hostage off the coast of Eritrea in Africa.
