Determining the customs value is one of the most important issues in the field of customs, Shahin Baghirov, Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan told journalists at the “Customs-Business Forum 2024: Dialogue” event held today, APA-Economics reports.
He said that the customs value should be formed for the calculation of customs payments: "This value is carried out on the basis of a single methodological calculation. The calculated figures are based on international practice. As a result, entrepreneurs pay payments to the state budget with pleasure. Entrepreneurs play the main role in these processes. The collected taxes affect the standard of living of each of us. Thus, budget funds are directed to the payment of various pensions, construction work, and the implementation of infrastructure projects."
