The construction of the Aghdam-Fuzuli highway is ongoing rapidly, APA-Economics reports.
According to the report, the road, which will be 65.7 km long and 15 meters wide, is being built with 4 lanes.
In total, 82% of the construction work on the project has been completed.
Construction work is being carried out in accordance with the requirements of the "Construction Norms and Rules". The necessary number of forces has been deployed to the area to complete the construction according to the established schedule.
The Aghdam-Fuzuli highway, a continuation of the Barda-Aghdam highway, passes through the territories of Aghdam, Aghjabedi, and Fuzuli districts. The construction of the road will provide convenient travel from Barda to Aghdam and Fuzuli, as well as in the opposite direction, and will have a positive impact on socio-economic development along the road.
