Iskratel office in Azerbaijan will launch operation this month

Baku. Aynur Veliyeva â€“ APA-Economics. Slovenia-based Iskratel has opened a service center which was registered as Iskatel LLC in Azerbaijanâ€™s tax authorities.
The development of its website (www.iskratel.az) will be completed and the official operation of the office will be launched by late February.
By late February, Azerbaijan-based Aztelecom will award a contract the office for the deployment of Next Generation Networks (NGN) and other required communication solutions.
Iskratel said the parties are now negotiating on the terms and details of the contract.
According to the preliminary information, the contract will cover the increase of the ADSL speed in Sumgait and introduction of IP TV and other new services based on NGN.
Iskratelâ€™s basic activity is the development of complete solutions for fixed and mobile telephony, convergence networks, Next Generation Networks (NGN), and network management required for the communication needs of the future information society. Apart from collaboration with the partners, the Companyâ€™s business philosophy also includes support services â€“ network design, training and after-sales support.
Iskatel was set up Sloveniaâ€™s Iskra Telematika and Germanyâ€™s Siemens A.G. in 1989.
