Azerbaijan to attend UPU spring session

Baku. Aynur Veliyeva – AAP-Economics. Azerbaijani delegation will attend the spring session of the Universal Postal Union.
Azerpost Ltd told AAP-Economics that the session will be held in Bern, Switzerland on April 12. The working group of the communication departments will also hold its meeting with the framework of UPU session.
The session will focus on the topical issues of postal communication. It also scheduled to hold UPU Postal Operations Council’s plenary meeting and to submit report.
Azerbaijan became a member of the Union’s two governing bodies – Administrative and Postal Exploitation Council at the UPU congress in 2008. The membership at the UPU governing bodies allows to participate in decision-making process on the main issues related to the Union’s activity.
