Azerbaijan National Internet Forum ends

Baku. Aynur Veliyeva - APA-ECONOMICS. The 1st Azerbaijan National Internet Forum has been wrapped up on December 4.

On the second day of the forum, Jeyhun Osmanli, chairman of Ireli Youth Association, delivered a presentation on social networking site "Yalli".

Emin Akhundov, Microsoft-Azerbaijanâ€™s Manager for Cooperation in Education, made a report on â€œMicrosoft in the Azeri ICT-Educationâ€.

He said in his report that the Azerbaijan State Economic University will be registered under the Information Technology Academy Program which will enable students to acquire extensive knowledge in this area.

Jahangir Mammadov, AzeriCardâ€™s Business Development officer, made a report on the E-Commerce Project, noting that the number of commercial websites joining e-commerce will increase in future.

At the conclusion, YUMROO CEO Anar Yolchiyev declared the forum closed and stated that the measures for the development of ICT sector in Azerbaijan will continue in the future.
