Two brothers killed after car crashes into three in Azerbaijan

APA’s Shaki-Zagatala bureau reports that the accident was recorded on the Gakh-Gum highway on November 30 at about 22:00. Driver of VAZ 2103, 56-year old resident of Gazakh district’s Gum village, Fatali Israfil Huseynov lost control over the vehicle on the way to Gum village and crash into a walnut-tree. Fatali Huseynov, his 54-year old wife, Sevda Mammad Huseynova and his 69-year old brother, Tarikh Israfil Huseynov were taken to Gakh District Central Hospital with serious bodily injures. Gakh District Central Hospital told APA that Fatali Huseynov died on the way to hospital and his 69-year old brother Tarikh Huseynov died in the hospital.

Sevda Huseynova is in stable but critical condition.

They reportedly were returning to the village from the wedding of their relatives in the center of the district. The driver was supposedly drunk and driving too fast.

Gazakh District Police Office has launched a criminal case on the fact, investigation is underway.
