Four killed after passenger bus collides with car in Baku

APA reports that the accident was recorded in Sabunchu-Zabrat highway in the direction of Balakhani settlement.

VAZ 2107 car driven by Elchin Ilgar Orujov, born in 1990, collided with passenger bus â„–105. Consequently, the driver and three other unidentified persons died. Another person died on the way to hospital.

The employees of the Special Risk Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived at the scene as the car deformed during the accident. The rescuers pulled the trapped bodies out the car with the help of special tools.

After the accident, short term traffic congestion occurred on Sabunchu-Zabrat highway.

Sabunchu District Police Department is investigating the case.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued a statement on the accident.

The Ministry said that IVECO truck collided with VAZ car in Sabunchu district, a passenger, trapped in the car, died at the scene. Rescuers removed the body from deformed car and handed over appropriately.
