Personnel and heavy equipment of Lerik District Road Maintenance Department No. 43 have controlled the area and cleared the road. Head of the Department Elkhan Aliyev told APA that despite the measures taken throughout the year to prevent landslide, stabilize, it is even more active. The department head associated its main reason with dry summer and rainy autumn.
Despite all the difficulties, the traffic on Lankaran-Lerik road was restored.
However, landslides on the road are not inevitable in case of rainy weather.
