Baku – APA. Under the instructions of Azerbaijani Human Rights Commissioner Elmira Suleymanova, employees of the Ombudsman’s Office have conducted an investigation in the Baku Investigation Isolator (BII) of the Justice Ministry’s Penitentiary Service.
During the investigation, the commissioner’s representatives also met with Leyla Yunusova and Intigam Aliyev along with other persons, the Ombudsman’s Office told APA.
The investigation revealed that Leyla Yunus has refused medical service, and relevant documentation has been done.
The Ombudsman applied to the Justice Ministry’s Main Medical Department about the results of the meeting with both persons.
