It was the sixth visit made on November 5, spokesperson for the ICRC Baku Office Ilaha Huseynova told APA.
ICRC representatives informed the Azerbaijanis, who are being kept in Nagorno-Karabakh, about their families and obtained information from them for their families, too.
Huseynova said the ICRC will continue the meetings with the hostages in accordance with its mandate, adding that the ICRC has no comment on the trial held for the hostages and isn’t involved in this process.
“The ICRC is not a source of information about the trial”, Huseynova said.
Note that, in July of this year, Russian citizen Dilgam Asgarov and Azerbaijani citizen Shahbaz Guliyev were taken hostage and another Azerbaijani citizen Hasan Hasanov was shot to death by the Armenian servicemen while trying to visit their homeland in Kalbajar.
Hasan Hasanov’s body was taken from the enemy and buried in Baku.
