The fire occurred in school No. 51 on Faiq Nemanzadeh Str. 20th area, Sabail District, the Sabail District Police Office told APA.
The teachers and pupils were evacuated during the fire.
The fire was also reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to the information, the ministry’s hotline “112” received a call that an electric board on the first floor of school No. 51, Bayil Settlement, Sabail District, Baku, caught fire.
The State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations sent manpower and vehicles to the site. The fire had covered an area of 12 square meters.
The operation resulted in the successful evacuation of pupils and extinguishment of the fire.
No one was injured in the accident.
