A large delegation of Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry and Ministry of Defense Industry, chief of the State Border Service, Colonel General Elchin Guliyev and representatives of “Azairtechservice” company attended the fair.
The Azerbaijani delegations held meetings with representatives of foreign companies and official delegations. The Ministry of Defense Industry and the Turkish Otokar, Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation and Rokestan signed protocols on establishment of joint production.
The productions manufactured by Azerbaijan were of great interest. The modernized version “Istiglal-T” sniper rifle of 14.5 mm caliber “Istiglal”, HP-7.62 offensive machinegun and Gurza patrol vehicle were demonstrated at the international exhibition for the first time.
As a part of IDEF-2103, ADEX-2014 to be held in Baku on September 17-19, 2014 was officially declared at the international level and producing companies were given invitations.
Next IDEF is planned to be held on May 5-7 in 2015.
