Azerbaijani Prosecutor Generalâ€™s Office publicizes causes of Sevinj Babayevaâ€™s death

Press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office told APA that a representative of Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office has been sent to Turkey in connection with the investigation of the criminal case launched on Gular Ahmadova under articles 178.3.2 and 307.2 and Sevinj Babayeva under article 178.3.2 of the Criminal Code.

Istanbul Forensic Medical Department completed forensic medical examination on the death of Sevinj Babayeva at Medicana International Istanbul Hospital, the expert judgment was submitted to our representative by Istanbul Buyukcekmece Prosecutor General’s Office.

The examination revealed that no injury was found on Sevinj Babayeva’s body resulting from trauma, her poisoning was not confirmed with medical evidences, because no toxic agent was found on tissue samples during an internal examination. It was determined that she died of cardiovascular disease.
