Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Rector of former Azerbaijan International University Elshad Abdullayev, who is living in France now, has been proposed to arrive in Azerbaijan and give testimony on the criminal case, Spokesman for the Prosecutor General’s Office Eldar Sultanov in his response to APA’s questionnaire whether Elshad Abdullayev testified or not.
Sultanov noted that an official proposal has already been made to Abdullayev and his representative on his testimony: “Necessary investigation measures are being taken for this case”.
Former MP Gular Ahmedova, who has been arrested due to the videos released by Abdullayev, refused to give testimony. Ahmedova stated that she will not give testimony unless Abdullayev is interrogated.
