Arrival of personae non gratae in Azerbaijan to be banned for 5 years

Azerbaijani citizens who lost their ID cards in foreign countries, those having their ID cards stolen and damaged, and with expired date, as well as their children under the age of 18 or those who are Azerbaijani citizens, aged 18 in foreign countries may have the right to return to their country through return cards of the Azerbaijani Republic.

Foreign nationals and stateless persons are banned from arriving in the country, if it is required for the protection of national security or public order, protection of the rights and legal interests of the citizens of Azerbaijan Republic and other persons, if there is information that the person financed terrorism, committed war crimes or is a member of the transnational organized criminal gang, if that person was convicted over the crime against the citizens of Azerbaijan Republic and interests of Azerbaijan Republic (if the imprisonment has not been served as set in the law), if the person is considered undesirable in Azerbaijan Republic, if violates the declared purposes of his arrival in Azerbaijan Republic, gave false information about himself or the purpose of his arrival, if sentenced for violating migration legislation twice or more than twice in the past three years.

In the aforementioned cases, the arrival of personae non gratae and stateless persons in the Republic of Azerbaijan will be banned for 5 years.
