Another person who was put on the international wanted list was extradited to Azerbaijan, the Press Service of the Prosecutor General's Office told APA.
Based on the request of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopted a decision on the extradition of Ramazan Mahamalievich Herayev, a citizen of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in accordance with the requirements of the Convention "On Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Matters" dated 07.10.2002.
Thus, since reasonable suspicions were established that Ramazan Herayev committed a criminal act of fraud with large-scale damage in the criminal case under preliminary investigation at the Main Investigation and Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a decision was made to involve him as an accused and an international wanted list was declared for him.
Ramazan Herayev was detained in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan and brought to Azerbaijan accompanied by a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
