The “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about an explosion in an apartment in a multi-storey residential building located in the city of Khirdalan, Absheron region, APA reports, citing the Ministry.
The forces of the State Fire Protection and Special Risk Rescue services of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately involved in the area in connection with the information.
During the assessment of the operational conditions at the scene, it was determined that an explosion occurred on the 4th floor of an eleven-storey residential building without fire.
The blast wave damaged two apartments and 4 cars parked near the residential building, and four people were injured.
The forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations evacuated the injured, as well as took appropriate security measures at the scene.
An investigation into the incident is underway by the relevant agencies.
