The detention period of Saleh Samedov, former chairman of the Imishli District Council of Elders, has been extended, APA reports.
A motion submitted by the investigative body was reviewed at the Sabail District Court.
By court decision, the term of the preventive detention measure chosen for Saleh Samadov has been extended for 3 months.
Saleh Samedov is charged under Article 179.3.2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
It should be noted that Saleh Samedov was arrested by the State Security Service. He was also dismissed from the position of chairman of the Imishli District Council of Elders on May 13.
