The total value of 6 tons 403 kg 647,445 grams of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances removed from illegal circulation between January and November of this year is estimated at 154 million 579 thousand AZN, Permanent Working Group of Azerbaijan's State Commission for Combating Drug Addiction and Illicit Trafficking of Narcotics has released information in this regard, APA reports.
According to the facts revealed, a total of 6 tons 403 kg 647,445 grams of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances were confiscated from illegal circulation, of which 524 kg 059,659 grams were heroin, 5 tons 313 kg 809,136 grams were marijuana, 164 kg 849,07 grams were opium, 38 kg 852,443 grams were hashish, 205 kg 385,123 grams were psychotropic substances, and 156 kg 692,014 grams were other narcotic drugs. Also, during the indicated period, 38,807 units of methadone, 15,392 units of hemp bushes, 429 grams and 240 units of pills of a potent substance, and 10 grams of precursors were seized from illegal circulation.
