Anar Asgarov Shakir, the acting head of the Dashkasan district department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, has been charged under Article 311.3.2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, based on reasonable suspicion regarding his actions in a criminal case under investigation by the Investigation Department of the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
Based on the submission of the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Baku Military Court issued a decision of 4 four-month preventive detention for Asgarov.
Senior Assistant to the Military Prosecutor - Head of the Press Service of the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan, senior justice counselor Firad Aliyev confirmed the information to APA.
According to him, the investigation is ongoing, and all necessary measures will be ensured to be taken in accordance with the requirements of the law, including providing legal assessment to every fact and action.
