Some vendors try to block Salyan-Astara highway

The market was closed on the pretext of fire risk for a week, chief of Public Union of Assistance to Democracy Emil Mammadov told the APA.
About 300 people became unemployed. They appealed to Salyan Executive Power several times but got no answer. The vendors gathered in front of the trade center and demanded its opening. Following this, they tried to block Salyan-Astara highway, but Salyan region police prevented it. The owner of the industrial market Fuzuli Hasanov told the APA that head of Salyan Executive Power Rasim Bashirov is to blame for the incident.
â€œExtra doors were closed by the order of the Executive Power. Head of Salyan Executive Power ordered to close the market last week. The people protest to it. I can not do anything,â€ he said.
Deputy Head of Salyan Executive Power Mahir Lalayev refuted the accusations. He said that a new market has been built in the region and the majority of the vendors have been removed there.
â€œNo one closed the market. The market administration had been warned against insanitary there. As it was ineffective, new market has been built in the region. The vendors are invited to the new market,â€ he said. /APA/
