Opinion of medical examination on death of deputy chairman of Islamic Party Vagif Abdullayev announced

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov â€“ APA. Opinion of medical examination was announced on death of deputy chairman of Islamic Party Vagif Abdullayev, who died in prison a few days ago. Director General of Forensic-Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy Union of the Health Ministry Shakir Musayev told APA that no signs of violence have been found during the inspection of the body. According to the examination, the cause of Vagif Abdullayevâ€™s death was ischemic heart disease, kidney failure and hypertrophy and bone cancer.

Abdullayev died in medical treatment facility of the Justice Ministryâ€™s Penitentiary Service on July 12. He was accused of the Criminal Codeâ€™s Articles #214.2.1 (preparation for terrorist attack by a group of persons, organized gang), 214.2.3 (preparation for terrorist attack using firearms), 228.3 (illegal purchase, transfer, selling, storage, transportation or carrying of fire-arms, accessories to it, supplies (except for the smooth-bore hunting weapon and ammunition to it) and 278 (violent capture power or violent deduction power). Vagif Abdullayev was sent to 11 years imprisonment by the decision of the Baku Court on Grave Crimes on October 7, 2011.
