Head of State Fire Security Service of Ministry of Emergency Situations: â€œFire didnâ€™t damage inside of Heydar Aliyev Centerâ€

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA. â€œFire didnâ€™t damage inside of Heydar Aliyev Center. 1000 sq m of roof burnt as a result of fireâ€, head of the State Fire Security Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Major-General Fuzuli Asadov said, APA reports.

The ministryâ€™s firefighting center received information about the fire at 11.34. The firefighting forces were sent to the site immediately. Considering complexity of the fire, high alert was declared and additional 25 technical means and two firefighting helicopters of Baku garrison were sent to the site.

â€œThe firefighters showed high professionalism and prevented extension of fire. Inside of the center was not damaged and there were no casualties among the personalâ€, Asadov said.

Asadov said employees of the investigative and examination laboratories took evidences and they would make statement about the reasons of the fire early next week. â€œAccording to the preliminary version, the fire was caused by the violation of security rules during welding workâ€.
