Russia is interested in the development of energy sector in occupied Azerbaijani territories, APA reports. Armenian Minister for Territorial Management and Infrastructure Armo Tsaturyan said that Russia companies are interested in the construction of hydroelectric power stations in Nagorno Karabakh.
“We are ready to begin to negotiate with Russia companies on this issue,� he said.
Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry Press and Information Policy department Chief Tahir Tagizadeh told the APA that he does not think that those companies represent Russia.
“It may be any commercial company. In any case, FM will investigate the fact and take necessary steps,� he said. /APA/
